On Monday, June 21, Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis met Aivis Ronis Minister for Foreign Affairs to discuss the current foreign policy developments, especially the recent visit of the Head of Government to the USA and the visit of Guido Westerwelle Vice Chancellor of Germany to Latvia. After the two visits, the Prime Minister has come to a conclusion that the USA and Germany perceive Latvia as a strategic partner in a geopolitically important region, where it is of the utmost importance to restore the economic growth.
