Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš will meet with senior officials of the European Union and NATO within the framework of his visit to Brussels on Wednesday 2 October.
K. Kariņš is scheduled to meet with David-Maria Sassoli, President of the European Parliament and Donald Tusk, President of the European Council. During the meeting, the officials will discuss current EU issues, Brexit, climate policy and the adoption of the multi-annual budget, as well as foreign relations.
The Prime Minister will meet with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenber in Brussels to discuss regional security issues. A joint press conference will follow this meeting.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to give interviews to the media during his visit.
