Evika Siliņa is the current Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia. Ms. E.Siliņa assumed office of the head of government on 15 September 2023.
The Prime Minister defines the policy directions of the government and ensures coherent and coordinated work of the Cabinet of Ministers. The Prime Minister directs the work of the Cabinet of Ministers and is accountable to the Saeima. The Prime Minister chairs the meetings of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Committee of the Cabinet of Ministers.
