On Tuesday, February 16, Prime Minister Māris Kučinskis conveyed his greetings to Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius and the people of Lithuania on the Day of Restoration of Lithuania's Independence.
"Democracy and freedom are one of the greatest values of the Baltic States. Despite the difficult path and the tasks to be undertaken in order to preserve our independence, every year we remember its founders and celebrate our challenging choice. Let me extend my sincere congratulations to Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius and the Lithuanian people!
