During the working visit to Brussels on 2 October, Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš met with David-Maria Sassoli, President of the European Parliament, Donald Tusk, President of the European Council and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenber. The officials discussed the issues facing the European Union, as well as regional security.
